Position Overview

The CMMS Asset Admin is an active member of the Maintenance support staff team, driving and supporting maintenance processes, controls, and asset management.

Successful candidates will be responsible for tracking and maintaining all assets and related documents, to optimize work force efficiency and productivity while minimizing total maintenance cost and effort.

In addition, the CMMS Asset Admin will need to have a true hands-on approach, strong communication and decision making skills, knowledge of maintenance activities and a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), the ability to prioritize, schedule and logistically support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to function in a maintenance team environment.

• Add, update, edit or move assets in the CMMS
• Audit Assets to ensure consistency
• Work with Maintenance and Engineering Staff to add Asset documentation in CMMS
• Work with Safety department to ensure Assets are labeled and have Lock Out / Tag Out procedures in CMMS
• Work with Accounting to communicate assets tracked

Basic Qualifications :

• 2 years recent experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and / or Smartsheet
• 1 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or equivalent experience
• Self-starter and a proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate with various departments

Preferred Qualifications :

• 1 years of CMMS experience
• Experience using HTML and SQL
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability
